Dr Audrey Shen BVSc (hons) MRCVS
Dr Audrey is one of the founders and directors of Aussie Mobile Vet. With her twin sister, they opened up their own purpose built Veterinary Hospital in 2007. After many years running their hospital, they noted an increasing demand for a good mobile vet service and launched Aussie Mobile Vet.
Audrey has been working as a Veterinarian for the last 10 years. She has a keen interest in medicine and surgery and has completed her Postgraduate Course in Ophthalmology and training on Low Lever Laser Therapy. Whilst loving any ‘eye cases’ that may come in, she also LOVES her small dogs, especially Chihuahuas! Audrey lives in the inner west with her menagerie of beloved fur babies- Peanut the Chihuahua, Maggot the rescue cat and Charlotte her cheeky rabbit!
Dr Alison Shen BVSc (hons) MRCVS, IVAS cert.
Dr Alison loves Veterinary Medicine and is a qualified Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist for Animals. The twin sister of Audrey and also a Veterinarian, they founded Aussie Mobile Vet together. Alison can often be found cuddling the animals during her acupuncture sessions. Alison has 2 pet dogs, a cheeky Jack Russell Cross called 'Jojo' and her beautiful rescue Greyhound, Billie! Together the pair of them has got themselves into a lot of mischief and are very lucky to have a vet as their mummy.
Dr Jackie Yip BVSc (hons)
Dr Jackie joins our vet team part time servicing the Inner West Van area. She graduated in 2003 and has since enjoyed working as a small animal vet in Sydney. She enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and building relationships with clients and their beloved pets.
Dr Jackie lives in the Inner West and has a natural love for all cats. In fact many cats try to adopt her as their owner, as they come uninvited to sunbathe all day on her doorstep! Here she is pictured with Instagram sensation BaconCup! Isn't he a cutie!
Dr Caroline Kim BVSc LFVetHom IVAS cert.
Dr Caroline joins our team to offer her professional services in alternative and natural medicine. She has trained further to become a qualified veterinary homeopath and acupuncturist.
Dr Caroline helps to bring more natural and effective treatments for animals under her care. She uses both a combination of Chinese and Western herbs, as well as follow-on therapeutic Essential Oils to further ease her patients into better health.
These modalities work in conjunction with conventional veterinary treatments or as a stand-alone treatment if our client's prefer a completely natural approach to their pet’s health.
Dr Rainbow Ngai BVSc (hons)
Dr Rainbow owns and operates our van in the Hills District and surrounds. Rainbow joins the team as our in-house Chinese speaking vet, fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Rainbow enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery and she is a qualified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She is also trained in the use of Low Level Laser Therapy (also known as Cold Laser or Photobiomodulation). Our patients love her warm, caring personality and we are so excited to bring her wonderful services to the pets in the Hills District of Sydney!
Briana Heinrich - Veterinary Nurse
Briana loves building friendships with owners and their pets. She will be completing her full Vet Nursing Qualifications shortly and we just love her positive and bubbly personality...as do our patients!
Briana joins our vets in their vans assisting during house calls and you will often hear her voice answering our phone calls during the week!
Briana has the most beautiful Cavalier called Harley who keeps her very busy after a long days work at Aussie Mobile Vet!
Iyona Shi - Veterinary Nurse/Assistant
Iyona has been working with animals since she was a young teen. Her range of experience includes doggy daycares, dog walking, pet sitting and training, as well and managing a grooming store.
Iyona has always dreamt of working with animals big and small and her passion shines through her work. Her ultimate goal is to become a fully qualified Veterinarian.
Having completed her Animals Studies, Dog Grooming and Pet First Aid Certificate she only strives to learn more. Iyona is an avid problem solver and her drive to help people with their animals is her passion.
Iyona brings a wealth of knowledge and experience working as a Dog Behaviourist, Pet sitter as well as fostering animals in need in her spare time,
Iyona's house is often referred to as a 'zoo' as her house is always filled with furry guests as well as her own 2 pet birds and her beautiful Labrador puppy. We are all excited to follow Iyona's journey to complete her Veterinary dream.
